I’m nearly a life-long resident of Marquette except for a few schooling years spent in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1986 I came home to purchase my own funeral business and, in 1998, felt as if it would be nice to have a pet in my life. UPAWS to the rescue. I adopted a cat thinking that would be best for the animal and me since I am rarely home. Fell in love with the little critter and have since adopted two more cats from UPAWS. Animals, including each of us, need a forever home, so I am happy that UPAWS is here to match us up with our “forever pals.”
